It is important to use copyright free music so you don't break the law when producing our coursework, If you used a music track that had copyright protection then posted your film on youtube it will be considered as breaking the law. Also if we use uncopyrighted music then we gain more marks for showing understanding of the copyright law and we could be awarded for our increased level of creativity. It'll also show that we know how to layer sound from the use of copyright free music and sound effects.
